Landscape Laborer

 

  • Yard work on lawns, gardens, around waterfront and beaches and planter maintenance
  • Cleaning and maintenance of all buildings, docks, decks, driveways and pathways
  • Work in a safe manner and within company guidelines and health and safety procedures
  • Other general maintenance on clients’ properties and possessions
  • Ability to perform manual labor duties and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to follow instructions to expectations
  • Good verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with hand tools and power equipment an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract an asset
  • Valid pleasure craft operator card an asset
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations and to work in a professional manner

Housekeeper

 

  • Day to day cleaning and maintenance of homes and cottages within the Muskoka district
  • May include care of fine furnishings, finishes, and delicate surfaces, care of art, antiques, silver, and delicate items. Dust and polish furniture and fittings
  • May include cleaning of trash, bathrooms, laundry, bed making, kitchen dishes and clean-up, vacuuming, mopping, and stock and maintain general house/cottage supplies
  • May include some light landscaping work, detailing boats, cleaning boathouses inside and outside, lawn furniture, cobwebbing
  • Professional and courteous with clients, subcontractors, trades people and co-workers
  • Work in a safe manner and within company guidelines and health and safety procedures
  • Ability to perform manual duties and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Ability to follow instructions to expectations
  • Good verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with house/cottage cleaning an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract an asset
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations and to work in a professional manner

Team Lead

 

  • Supervision of team of seasonal landscape laborers (4-6 people)
  • Control, maintenance, and upkeep of all equipment and supplies required by team
  • Work collaboratively with team to complete repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of all company properties
  • Yard work on lawns, gardens, around waterfront and beaches and planter maintenance alongside team members
  • Cleaning and maintenance of all buildings, docks, decks, driveways and pathways
  • Work and promote safely within company guidelines and health and safety procedures
  • Other general maintenance on clients’ properties and possessions
  • Ability to perform manual labor duties and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and customer service skills
  • Experience with hand tools and power equipment required
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract required
  • Valid pleasure craft operator card required
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations and to work in a professional manner

Staff Amenities

Our staff house is located in Port Carling and offers employees a clean, comfortable residence for the summer. Private bedrooms are available for a small daily fee.
